Our Quiz Research Methodology

Our Research Methodology for the McClelland’s Human Motivation Theory Self-Assessment Quiz was designed to accurately measure the individual’s level of need for achievement, affiliation, and power.

First, we conducted a thorough literature review on McClelland’s Human Motivation Theory to ensure that our quiz accurately reflects the theory’s key concepts and constructs.

Next, we developed a pool of statements related to each need and pre-tested them with a diverse group of participants to ensure they were clear and accurately measured the construct of interest.

We used a four-point scale for each statement, to measure the level of agreement with each statement.

To ensure the validity and reliability of the quiz, we calculated the Cronbach’s alpha for each need and found that it was greater than .70, indicating a high level of internal consistency.

We also piloted the quiz on a sample of participants and obtained feedback on the clarity and relevance of the statements and overall design of the quiz.

We believe that the combination of a thorough literature review, pre-testing of statements, and pilot testing of the quiz ensures that our research methodology is both valid and reliable.
